Saturday 01-05-19  Fruitport Bowling hosted a Tournament at Northway Lanes.  24 different area schools competed in this annual event.  The boys division was won by Zeeland who defeated Oakridge 360 to 339 in the Baker format.  The Fruitport Boys did not make the today.  They were led by Cameron Weaver with 540 Series, and Connor Hines with a 582.  The Girls divison was won by Hopkins who defeated Mona Shores in a very close match 341 to 331.The Fruitport Girls also missed the cut and did not qualify.  They were led by Kennadi Dykstra 445 and Jessica Plichta with 474.

     Some local bowlers did very well individually making the ALL TOURNAMENT TEAM.  Bryan Rousell from Reeths Puffer was top boy on the day with a 678 series.  Bryany was followed by Johnathan Ryan HOPKINS 674, Matt Buck ROCKFORD 664, Micah Yager GRAND HAVEN 657, Rayven Sims MUSKEGON 650, Brady Bowen ORCHARD VIEW 641, Shelby Brown E KENTWOOD 640, Jackson Miller ROCKFORD 624, Brandon Jones OAKRIDGE 622, Lucas Buck KENOWA HILLS 613.

The girls ALL TOURNAMENT team also had many local bowlers.  The GIRLS were led by Kaliegh Batka GRAND HAVEN 599, Karli Vanduinnen REETHS PUFFER 558, Lindsay Cross MONA SHORES 531, Alexis Thompson GRAND HAVEN 521, Amaya Guzman RAVENNA 510, Jackie Jacobs WHITEHALL 507, Brenna Mcfaren RAVENNA 500, Alyssa Major OAKRIDGE 495, Laruen May RAVENNA 494, AND Morgan Smith ZEELAND 487.
