The Trojans District run comes to an end with 62 to 24 loss to Oakridge.

Fruitport started slow in the first q as they could not get any baskets to fall, many point blank, and Oakridge put up three 3's and led 11-2 after one. The Eagles second quarter was their best of the night putting up 19 points and the Trojans continued to have a problem getting the ball to fall in close and Oakridge pulled out to a 30 to 13 half time lead. The third and fourth q belonged to the Eagles and they pull away For the District title.

Fruitport was led by Kennah VerMerris and Andi Quasebarh with 7 points each, Taylor Burke and Ellie Fisher added 4 each. Fisher also pull down a season high 19 rebounds.

The Trojans also say good bye to two senior who played their final basketball game as a Fruitport Trojan, Taylor Burke and Emily Dirkse. Both these girls have been great role models and their hard work and effort on a daily basis will be truly missed.
