Today the Lady Trojans went 2-2 at the Grand Haven Invitational. The Trojans defeated East Grand Rapids 28-30, 25-21, 15-11, and Leland 16-25, 25-10, 15-10 in pool play, losing only Livonia Churchill 9-25, 13-25 in pool play. In bracket play the Trojans lost to #9 Ranked Cadillac 10-25, 14-25. The Trojans were lead offensively by Brooke Sieplinga with 16 kills and Erika Burgess with 14. Kennadi Dykstra recorded 58 digs and Madalyn Fett recorded 26. Ellie Fisher was a dominate force at the net recording 5 blocks. Jessie Paquin set up 41 assists for the team while Jenna VanderVelde recorded 31. The Trojans (3-8) start conference play on Tuesday at Reeths Puffer.
