Fruitport defeated visiting Muskegon 8-0 in the opening round of district play on Thursday night. The Trojans received goals from seven different players in the game. Bryce Lanore had two goals while Logan Manciu, Christian Swiatek, Charlie Swartz, Kaleb Krueger, Carter Golden, and Ryan Laus all had single tallies. Lanore and Cody Mayette added assists for the Trojans while Justin Laus posted the shut out in net.
Fruitport advances to play Spring Lake next Tuesday.
