Fruitport dropped the non conference double header with Spring Lake.
Game 1 went to the Lakers 7-4. Luke Hronek led the Trojan offense with 3 hits and a walk while Nick Kleinhecksel had 2 hits. Matt Lord had 2 RBIs as well.
Game 2 was a tightly contested game but the Lakers pulled out the victory late 3-2. Luke Hronek reached base twice as did Chase Campbell. Dave Ross has 2 RBI's as well. Landon Fielstra pitched well going 4 innings giving up 2 hits and 2 walks and 1 earned run.
