Fruitport Split the non conference double header with whitehall.
Game one went to Whitehall in a slug fest 19-7. Leading hitters for Fruitport were David Ross with 3 hits and both Luke Hronek and Jerod Arvey with 2 hits a piece. Kam Sweet had 2 walks in place of an injured Aaron Sander.
Fruitport came back in game 2 with a dominant pitching performance by Luke Mitchell. He went 5 innings striking out 12 walking 2 and giving up 1 earned run in the shorten game due to darkness. Luke also chipped in 2 hits.
