Fruitport lost on the road to Orchard View by a score of 44-34. The game was tight throughout, and only until the final minutes did Orchard View pull away.

Coach Erny commented, "We could not muster enough offense, especially in the big moments of the game as Orchard View started to take control. I thought we were able to get good shots, we just were not able to finish. I was proud of our defensive effort tonight. We certainly did enough to win the game on that end. The next couple of weeks will provide us with plenty of opportunities for both individual and team improvements as we get ready for conference play."

The Trojans were led by Luke Mitchell and Gavin FIsher, each scoring 10 points. Cam Schultz and Marcelo Conklin each added 4. Hunter Gannon and Ethan Flores both had 2. 

Fruitport does not have another scheduled game until they take on Mona Shores at home on January 4.
