Fruitport played its first game coming back from Spring Break. The girls came out a little off balance but picked up momentum after Sydney Bol found the back of the net with a pass from Kennah Vermerris at the 29 minute mark. Vermerris also added two more assists, one to Sarah Zielinski who scored 2 goals and another to Ellie Fisher who ended the night with a hat trick and 2 assists. Fruitports keeper Madalyn Fett had 8 saves in net. Other key players were Haileigh Christiansen, Kayla Hooker, Maddie Wescott and Marina Vela.
The Trojans travel to WMC on Saturday for a North/South Challenge.
